We are not at war with Islam.

Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country.

That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances.

This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable.

In this country we treat everybody equally and in accordance with the law, regardless of race, regardless of religion.

I think that in this day and age, there is always going to be the potential for an individual or a small group of individuals, if they are willing to die, to kill other people.

One of the things that I most admired about President Bush is, after 9/11, him being crystal clear about the fact that we were not at war with Islam, we were at war with terrorists and murderers who had perverted Islam, who had stolen its banner to carry out outrageous acts.

We are going to work with the Afghan government to train Afghan security forces so they can be responsible for their own security, we are going to promote a political settlement in the region that can help to reduce the violence.

We're there because that was the place where al Qaeda launched an attack that killed 3,000 Americans, and we want to make sure that we dismantle al Qaeda and that Afghanistan is never again used as a base for attacks against Americans and the American homeland.

Islam is only a threat to america because of all the oil in the middle east. Once efficient electric cars are created the oil will start to become worthless. Terrorists depend on oil money. There arn't that many islamic extremists in america. They are mostly in the middle east and africa. If just a fraction of the amount of money used to fight Islamic extremists went into research this war would all ready be over. To defeat the terrorists oil must become worthless. Renewable/nuclear energy and electric cars all the way. Any oil we would need after doing that could easily all come from america.

The Mexicans would never allow that to happen. The Mexicans are going to keep coming here in such vast numbers that America will not allow significant immigration to come from the middle east. All of America's cheap labor needs will come from North and South America. Only muslims with advanced University degrees will be able to immigrate here and they will be small in number. Muslims will never form a sizable number while Mexicans have a chance to become the majority. Mexican immigrants have large numbers of children. Europe may have to worry about large muslim populations but not America.
