Inner-City High School Students Build World's First Hybrid Supercar

Sweet use of existing technology. Now some bailed-out auto maker can but the rights and shelve it. Dream on if you think it'll ever make it near production.

Why would an automaker shelve the technology? How could they shelve it if it's existing?

Are you getting the big oil Illuminati and the big automakers illuminati mixed up again? I blame the reptoids, and the grey aliens (green aliens are on our side).

I'd bet Tesla or somebody might buy it and produce it. Probably not Tesla because their thing is electric, but somebody may, if it is producible.

Ok using this is an example; Is it able to be mass produced? Can the car operate for at least 300,000 miles? Emissions?

Again this is impressive, however it's still a long way from a finished product.

Show me a list of Cars that GM or Ford make that make it 300k.

It is a prototype capt Obvious... so no, it is not currently able to be mass produced and the article didn't provide any details as to whether or not it was a possibility. So I do not know... and neither do you. None of this makes one bit of difference to what I stated. Unless of course you can show me a car designed by GM or Ford that can get 50 mpg and 0-60 in 4 seconds. I'll wait while you try to find one....

No one said this was a 'finished product' or that it was ready to be mass produced yesterday. But the innovation shown by these kids is a lesson that needs to be taught to the idiots in Detroit.

300,000 miles is easy as long as you properly maintain your vehicle. As for the other things, no I cannot. That's why I'm skeptical of this.

Not saying this isn't genuine innovation and worthy of notice, only that I'm skeptical.
