Information becomes a Distraction, a Diversion

No, they don't. You can "disagree" all you want, they have positioned themselves more and more lately to be the left Fox. The further they go the less eyes they get on the product and I'm happy about that, but what they were doing before wasn't working either.

When the reporters are literally told not to say the word "terrorist" you can bet dollars to donuts that they are not even close to "right wing"...

The reporters are told not to use the word "terrorist"?

Like the Fox guys are told to say, "Homicide Bomber" rather than Suicide Bomber.... Of course, there are the occasional slips and sometimes there is just no other option...

Anyway, none of that changes what I said. Huffpost is a prettier lefty version of Drudge. One is not "worse" than the other, they do the same thing. Like MSNBC and Fox.

Im going to watch MSNBC tonight and see if they say "terrorist" or not. I dont even understand why that would make them liberal, but Ill listen anyway.

Why does not saying the word terrorist make one more liberal?

Of course, to assert that MSNBC is the FOXNews of the left, you have to pretend that Joe Scarborough doesn't have a daily three-hour program.

K'...

We'll say that because of one guy they have negated the other 21 hours of Olbermann, Matthews and his orgasms when Obama speaks, etc.

Seriously, it's weak to pretend that they don't hang out in the left-handed store because they hired a token.

You know I'm right, so you throw out a desperate attempt to say they are "rightwing" because of this dude and therefore all the rest of the propaganda they push magically disappears.

It's like the average IQ of a thread drops about 30 points when people start to try to protect their affiliation by pretending these places aren't partisan.

Huffpost = Drudge

MSNBC = FOX (even with Scarborough).

I'm not saying MSNBC is right-wing, I merely suggesting that I do not believe that there is a left-leaning equivalent of FOXNews.

Olbermann has a one-hour program. As does Chris Matthews (and if you think his commentary on Obama is gushing, go back and watch Matthew's coverage of Mission Accomplished). As does Rachel Maddow. Morning Joe is a three-hour program. That sounds like balance to me.

Right because -13 is so much different than positive 14...

If both of the channels were on a teeter-totter neither end would hit the ground, one might be slightly closer to it, but come on...

For the point I am making here, it is enough. It's so typical of the left to try to make it "better" because there's "this"...

You can actually get good information from both of the stations, it's just fed to you largely from the viewpoint they seek to promote. Even "center" channels do that.

IMO, the rest of the lefty pundits more than cancel out Scarborough and it is rather even. But heck, left channel, right channel, they are there... Drudge, Huffpost, are the same animal with different colors. Slightly different personalities, but they are still the same animal. MSNBC and Fox... Both are ponies, one might be slightly larger and colored differently, maybe a different breed of pony, but they are still both ponies.

What point are you making? You started out claiming that Drudge was just a neutral aggregator of news and the MSNBC is the left-leaning version of FOXNews. I'm not sure where you landed.

No, I didn't. I said, literally, that Drudge's site simply linked to other sources with the occasional rumor story. It is a 100% accurate description of Drudge's site. I then made the point that Huffpost does exactly the same thing with just a smidge more editorializing.

Then somebody else tried to tell me that MSNBC was "Conservative", which is preposterous.

MSNBC is the left version of FOX, even with Scarborough. As I said, they are both ponies one might be slightly larger, but both of them only show one end of the pony. The attempt to portray MSNBC as some bastion of the right when it is owned by directly lefty companies who promote a point of view was a false one. I was able to make my point, with your help.

It doesn't matter who it is "owned" by, when they literally cater to the left directly.

And NBC and Microsoft are not conservative any more than ABC and Disney are.

You attempt to mislead people, but we're not stupid here. MSNBC is literally the left answer to FOX.

IF you assume fox is "right" and not corporatist.

msnbc is not for "the workers". just as fox is not 'for conservative principles"/.

They both peddle the banker party line, total control through printing money. that's the only ideology they have, and they both share it.

That's what we "the illuminati" we're shooting for.

They both come from the "Drill baby Drill" perspective which is the same perspective as the "Drill Baby" party (Republican)!

If you belive that Chris Matthews is a "Liberal" watch him the night GWB landed on the aircraft carrier under the "mission accomplished" banner... He just about came in his pants!

"We're proud of our president. Americans love having a guy as president, a guy who has a little swagger, who's physical, who's not a complicated guy like [former President Bill] Clinton or even like [former Democratic presidential candidates Michael] Dukakis or [Walter] Mondale, all those guys, [George] McGovern. They want a guy who's president. Women like a guy who's president. Check it out. The women like this war. I think we like having a hero as our president. It's simple. We're not like the Brits. We don't want an indoor prime minister type, or the Danes or the Dutch or the Italians, or a [Russian Federation President Vladimir] Putin. Can you imagine Putin getting elected here? We want a guy as president."

Who said this the day Bush declared "Mission Accomplished"?

Mary Landrieu of Louisiana is one of the largest supporters of drill baby drill. Some democrats are concerned about jobs energy security and the economy. Others have liberal agenda's that include destroying our domestic energy production in the name of free range carribu

But none of them ran a nationwide campaign with the chant.... Drill baby Drill!

To me, that is not the same as simply being for the expansion of off shore oil drilling. It indicates a desire to do it at all costs!
