For a little basic economics for you, the seeds for this inflation began back in 2017, grew expeditiously during the Covid years, and are blooming today. It is a demand pull inflation, compounded by Covid, war in Ukraine, and China lockdown. It was going to happen no matter who was President

And in terms of gas, oil is just a segment of the problem, you do know that oil production in the US hasn't slowed that much, in fact, the US is still the seventh leading exporter of oil in the world
