Inaugural crowd sizes: Trump v. Obama

And I know you don't agree, but Trump's proclivity toward near-constant exaggeration IS an issue.

Do you really think that isn't something that could lead to a few issues down the line?
Are you kidding, this is Grind's key to trolling for the next four years. He is going to be a major Trumptard!

An unmistakable message: ‘Welcome to your first day; we will not go away’

Almost immediately after Donald Trump’s election, tens of thousands of Americans in cities nationwide took to the streets to denounce the nation’s new president. Last week, there were comparable events in support of the Affordable Care Act. A couple of weeks earlier, much of the public howled when Republicans took aim at congressional ethics rules, forcing GOP lawmakers to quickly retreat.

But while these displays of progressive activism were impressive, it’s been many years since Americans have seen events on the scale we saw the day after Trump’s inauguration.

In a global exclamation of defiance and solidarity, millions rallied at women’s marches in the nation’s capital and cities around the world Saturday to send President Donald Trump an emphatic message on his first full day in office that they won’t let his agenda go unchallenged.

“Welcome to your first day, we will not go away!” marchers in Washington chanted.

This wasn’t just impressive, it was also important. By most measures, roughly 250,000 people attended Trump’s inauguration in D.C. on Friday, but an estimated 3 million people participated in the women’s march worldwide on Saturday – including tripling the new president’s crowd in the nation’s capital alone.

A global repudiation of an American president on his first day in office.

Unprecedented .. and we will not go away.

Does anyone honestly really care what the crowd size was for either? They were big. OK? Huge. Do I care? Not at all.

Stop and think....Trump's entire image/campaign is an exaggeration of platitudes and vague generalities. If he is so concerned about this, that should tell you something.

Do you think it right to compare photos taken at different times? Heck, just throw a picture in from a week before and say, look, Obama had more people.

Pfffft.
Lol, it didn't fill up the whole time, you are desperately trying to justify something that can't be justified, the crowd wasn't as large, get over it!

do you really think donald trump sat down on inaugartion day and started messing with his twitter banner and then went to google images and specifically googled "obama inaugaration day" and then uploaded it? Is this what you are actually saying?
Somebody did! Lol The picture was on his account!

christie made two separate posts about my sig. Damn I got into her head big time. Only the product of Deep-level analysis could produce such results.
That's your sig, lol glad I have them turned off, still laughing

That many whiners marched because they still don't like the results of the election. There is a difference and it would make a difference if they were actually protesting instead of whining like a bunch of spoiled brats.

No. It was just a media story, and the media is 24x7.

its what the media claimed was the focus of his first day.....

here's what he really did.......probably should have focused on that unless you're a liberal hack......
Spicer said Trump signed an order reinstating a rule that bans federal funding to non-governmental organizations that provide abortions. He wouldn’t preview any future actions reversing an order signed by former President Barack Obama that shielded certain children of undocumented immigration from deportations, but said the administration is focused on removing criminals.

“First and foremost, the President has been very, very clear that we need to direct agencies who address those who are in this country illegally and have a criminal record or pose a threat to the American people,” he said. “That’s where the priority is going to be.”

He began Monday’s session in a traditional fashion, outlining Trump’s busy schedule and detailing a phone call between the President and his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. Spicer said Trump had discussed the potential of el-Sisi visiting the White House in the coming months.

He detailed a plan to meet with American CEOs quarterly after a productive session in the West Wing Monday morning, and announced Trump would take his first out-of-town trip aboard Air Force One on Thursday when he travels to a Republican Congressional retreat in Philadelphia.

Later in the day, Trump is expected to meet a bipartisan group of congressional leaders. Spicer said part of the discussion would center on plans to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Are the Trumpsters keeping a straight face while doing this?

This is Trump's first few days in office. They're locked in heated debate about the size of the inaugural crowd - because it's so important to Trump and Sean Spicer.

I feel like if they could step back from the keyboard, and think about that for 5-10 seconds, they might gain some perspective.
Of course you ignore that it was Democrats who made it an issue and you ignore that they lied when comparing two pictures at different times.

You are a miserable hack.
