In pictures: The nationwide ‘No Kings’ protests

You mean the NIH funding freeze Trump ordered? The one that judge William Young in Boston, ruled on the basis of NOTHING that the cuts were “disfavored topics and populations,” including diversity, equity and inclusion...
That isn't ruling on the basis of law but personal opinion. Try again. I'm betting the appellate courts will toss Young's ruling for the bullshit it is.

What course curriculum is that? I know he's told universities they can't discriminate on the basis of DEI or lose federal funding. Any president can do that. Federal funding requires you follow federal laws and the requirements for getting it. Discrimination isn't allowed, and DEI discriminates. What's wrong with that?

WTF? I guess JFK, Bush II, and Eisenhower who all had military parades in DC are fascists too then? What kind of idiotic, lame-assed, excuse is that? Even Trump hater, Max Boot, at the WaPo said he liked the parade and he's about as far from a Trump supporter as you can get.

I never read multiple responses. Stick to one at a time. Because even one of them, if true, would be worth debating.

You claim to have an MA in history but could not pass a simple quiz on European history in high school

IMO it should be a lot higher there were protests like the one in the small town I live in , heck there might be 2500/ 3000 people in the town and they had about 200 or more come out , so if they look into every protest like that one it could add up to be a lot more then they are saying.
It would be hard to add every one up to find a total , but IMO it would be a lot higher if everyone was counted.
Millions turned out. Wonderful to see such strength in the face of Republican-attempted fascism!

So, was it illegal when Clinton did it in 1992?

My favorite part of that:

"When the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a domestic dispute during the 1992 LA Riots, they likely didn’t need the backing of the United States Marine Corps, but they had it anyway. Upon approaching the house from which the call was made, one officer was hit by a shotgun blast of birdshot. He called on the Marines to cover him. Unfortunately, what “cover” meant to the Marines and what it meant to the LAPD were two entirely different things.

The officer just wanted the threat of Marine Corps M-16s pointed at the house, an attempt to keep the shooter from shooting again. The Marines thought the 200 rounds they fired into the house would be enough. They were probably both right."

What?!! The Marines didn't hit the house with an air strike? Man, they're slacking off... :awesome:

Disagree all you want. Believe the organizers and other supporters who have a vested interest in boosting the numbers. I've been working off the photos to estimate crowd size. For example, I'd say the SF one that marched along Dolores Street in the Mission District--likely the most Trump hating place in the US--was about 20,000 strong. Dolores Street is about 100 feet wide sidewalk to sidewalk and the procession was about 500 to 800 feet deep and pretty tightly packed.

When it reached Market Street it opened up some as there was more room for it.

Here's some guy on Facebook that photographed one in S. Florida with a handful of protesters.

Another one in Florida with what the police estimate as 1600...

Millions turned out to protest last weekend - and instead of attacking cops and shitting on the Capitol floor, they did it orderly and peacefully.

Man, this is really bothering you! Are you envious Democrats are standing up for what they believe in? Republicans sure won't. Republicans are following in the exact footsteps as Germany did before WWII.
