I don't mean the late Steve Jobs, I mean the kind the GOP has been promising America for over 10 years.

They said tax cuts = jobs & prosperity.

They are still saying it.

How long does it take?

In the meantime, (sort of) led by John Boehner and (really) led by Eric Cantor, here's what the Republicans in the House have accomplished:

  1. They reaffirmed "In God We Trust" as the national motto and solemnly said it should continue to be displayed on public buildings, currency and coins.
I suppose they felt this was exactly what citizens needed from their elected representatives.

There is no apparent connection between the 'In God We Trust' resolution and jobs.

Can anyone explain why helping the 1 in 15 Americans now living in deep poverty is less important than this kind of posturing?

Amazingly, the GOP did this after Cantor proclaimed he would block measures without 'substance'.

Incredibly, they did this even though Cantor has hung signs in his office that read "Are my efforts addressing job creation and the economy? If not, why am I doing it? Why are WE doing it?”

Just wow.

Obama: God wants us to put people back to work

The GOP has failed to create jobs for over a decade.

They said tax cuts would create jobs.

They insist that tax cuts create jobs.

When will tax cuts create jobs?

They serve the 1% faithfully and well.

If you're one of the 99%, remember next November.

Two years with total power in the legislature and the WH, over a Trillion spent on jobs and you try to blame the GOP...

Weak as hell, and only the truly stupid (read MSDNC and the Democratic Faithful) will fall for it. Obama's policy has failed to create the jobs he promised. Even he realized and stated that if he didn't create jobs for people with his policy that this was likely a "one-term prospect"...

He bought and paid for this economy, his policy isn't working, in real terms over 15% are without jobs, more people than ever before are on food stamps and this Administration tries to make it sound like it is a "good" thing because it is "stimulus"...

It isn't. It's a sign of utter policy failure, Obama. And even $1,000,000,000 isn't likely to convince people differently.

Seriously the 527 ads alone will be what he spends his Billion on... He'll be on the defense throughout, even with the attempt to pretend that blocking more of the same is somehow increasing rapes... (They really tried to say that. Talk about fear mongering).

So you are saying that tax cuts did produce jobs?

So you are saying that tax cuts did produce jobs?

No, but neither did the Obama Policy which he had total blank check access to for two years.

So, you're trying to say that the current economy is "success"? I suggest you run on that DNC... It will make me grin.

The most the government can do, other than take over, is create an environment for business to thrive, this Administration's policies clearly do not do this, and any attempt to shove more of it down our throats deserves to be shoved right back where it came from.
