In 2006 Obama voted to filibuster Supreme Court Nominee Alito

why?......its the last SC justice a Republican nominated.......

Guess ZZ expects a date when no such appointment was made. If that's the last one the Democrats had the opportunity to filibuster due to ideological opposition, what other date could be used? Maybe ZZ wants one made up or thinks Democrats would filibuster one of their own (Sotomayor or Kagan)

Obama breaks his oath to faithfully execute the laws regularly and you say nothing about it.

Damn right. The constitution says the president "shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed" and here's a prez that has given certificates to millions of illegals telling them they can live and work here even though the law says they can do neither!!!

This is the most lawless president in history. By far.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahshahahahahah

gee I'm sure mitch the Mc read it when a mere hour after the guy was found DEAD he announced the republican party wont let Obama pick a nominee

McCuntell can't stop B. Hussein Yobabymama from picking a nominee. McCuntell has ZERO power to stop the President from choosing someone. You should know that

Well now, that's your OPINION...nothing more.

1) Ive seen this reported several times.

2) So what, he filibustered. How is that comparable to them claiming a president should not get to nominate in his 4th (or 8th) year?

3) I don't like the filibuster, I think its beyond the intent of the Constitution, so I dislike that Obama used it. A simple no vote on Alito would have been enough for him to have shown his dislike for the nominee.

When you have to go back to 2006 to find a Democrat threatening to filibuster a SCOTUS nominee there really is a problem with the comparison, don't you think?

I had to stop and sit laughing when I saw this post .....

Zoomy points out Republicans going back to 2006---- implying its ancient history......, but when desh thanks him, that was enough make me lmao

Desh constantly brings up an agreement the RNC made with DNC the is almost 35 years old....as proof of voter fraud (which is factually wrong) then
thinks going back to 2006 by the Republicans is bringing up ancient history....
