Then you should be rooting for Trump to stay in the race... that's the only way I see Romney winning the nomination, he just doesn't have the support of the base... never really has. He ran second to John McCain for crying out loud! Now, if Trump is in, and he can siphon enough votes from Palin, Huckabee, Bachmann, Pawlenty, or whoever else from the TEA Party right... then Romney MAY have a chance, but that's really iffy, because if Trump stays in, he might just beat out Romney too.

I am leaning toward thinking it might be Huckabee this time... just a gut feeling, really. He did well last time out, and since then, millions of people have 'gotten to know him' through his TV show...that could be a plus or minus, but in his case, I believe it will be a plus. Yeah.... I know... I know... Huck ain't gonna get a lot of support here among the libertarian moderates and elites, and the liberals will scoff at him being a man of the cloth, but you people represent such a very tiny fraction of the overall electorate, it isn't even worth consideration, what you have to say. I think the voters will clear a lot of stuff up in Iowa, and then we can talk more about this.

You may be correct about how Trump would split the WHACKO's, but you are pittafully wrong on the remainder of your post.

Huckleberry will not win the Republicnan nomination, too many Republicans understand Seperation of Church and State for that to work.

I dont see how the Republicans can nominate anyone who can beat President Obama, but there is plenty of time between here and there. Romney has the best chance, but him basically being the author of the Health Care Bill will do him in with the Right. This might be a year where the Republicans split there vote between two canidates.

In addition, it may be a shame, but after this week Trump is done.
 
I agree, Trump cooked himself. Stick a fork in it and call it done. I never thought he'd run, but he's just not going to be the nominee anyway.

I've not ever been a "supporter" and if you've actually READ my posts, you understand that... but you are retarded, so maybe you don't. I have reiterated it about a dozen times now, I do not and have not, endorsed Trump for president. Can you people try and get that through your thick heads? How many times do I have to make that statement? 100? 500? 1,000? Just tell me, and I'll get to work on it, because I really want you to understand, I have NEVER said that I support Trump for president. Of course, if you just stubbornly want to bow up and insist that I have supported Trump, that's up to you, it doesn't offend me or bother me, really. Romney has the least chance of beating Obama, in my opinion. I actually think Sarah Palin would have a better chance. Huckabee is someone who could certainly beat Obama, and again, we can tell when Liberals FEAR someone, they resort to making up cute little insulting names for them, like "Huckleberry." No, that's what Trump suggested, and I agreed with him... turns out, there wasn't anything to be ashamed of on the BC, which prompts the question, why did it take this long for Obama to show us? In his own words, this is a distraction keeping us divided and unable to get the work of the people done.... so, did he just now realize that?

Huck will not get the Republican nomination, unless I am giving the R's too much credit, but I dont think so. He sees the handwriting on the wall and MOST LIKELY will not run. If he did run, he already cooked his goose by claiming the Obama grew up in Africa.

We will see, but the smart money is still on Romney.

Well, it's like I said before, it is WAYYYYY to early to be predicting WHO will win the GOP nomination. I just stated my feeling, I think it will be Huckabee.... I might be totally wrong, it might be someone I haven't even thought of... I have no crystal ball, I don't know who the voters will pick, but whoever it is will probably beat Obama because the economy isn't going to magically improve much the next 18 months. And I don't think the "Obama grew up in Africa" thing is going to hurt him much, against "Mr. 57 States." In fact, I think if you idiots try to avoid the issues and focus on that sort of shit, you are almost certain to lose. It's nice 'red meat' for your base, it gives them something to crow about in these dismal times, but really Jarhead... that ain't gonna get your man re-elected.
