A small, globe-trotting balloon declared “missing in action” by an Illinois-based hobbyist club on Feb. 15 has emerged as a candidate to explain one of the three mystery objects shot down by four heat-seeking missiles launched by U.S. Air Force fighters since Feb. 10.

It was explained clearly and simply that Biden followed the desires of the military. They wanted him to wait until a better recovery of the balloon was possible. It was an intelligence-gathering mission. If you are stupid enough to think China's intelligence gathering is just a balloon with some technology attached, you are quite ignorant.
After the Chinese balloon.,the military was a bit quick on the trigger. It is no big deal.
