Illinois charged murder of unborn

There are people who have "fetus showers".... but we all know... those are really baby showers...;)
A woman who has a miscarriage loses a child. Does she not? A couple who discovers "they" are pregnant celebrate and care for the child who is developing and on the way...they don't sing to the fetus and plan for the fetus... People who adopt from a mother who decides to give up her baby celebrate and look forward to the birth...And follow along as the baby develops. When our children were growing and developing, we did not refer to them as anything but our babies....did we?
It's pretty clear when and why "blastocyte, embryo, fetus" are the go to words....

I do not care what you "refer" to them as. A fetus is a fetus; an embryo is an embryo; a blastocyte is a blastocyte. If you "refer" to any of them as a giraffe...that would not make them a giraffe.

A baby is a baby....an unborn child, as you mention...at any stage of development...the other terms are also applicable...but no parent uses them...

I agree that a baby is a baby...but the term "unborn child" is a misnomer of sorts.

A fetus is a fetus...etc.
But you are, of course, entitled to your opinion...and I to mine...;)

Agree completely.

A fetus is an unborn child. CALCRIM 520 (California Criminal Jury Instructions) defines a fetus as “an unborn human being that has progressed beyond the embryonic stage after major structures have been outlined, which occurs at seven to eight weeks of development.”

How do you suppose the state of California would react to all pregnant women declaring their "unborn child" as a dependent on a tax return?

Would they say that it is a "baby"...and therefore entitled to be used as a dependent?

Illinois is a blue state

murdering her and unborn child

WAIT WTF ...I thought u couldn't murder the unborn?
Viability, she is 8 months pregnant, and that is probably the reason for the murder charge.

No use arguing with either of us....;)No golfing until it's cooler, btw....

I'm supposed to play on Friday. Temp scheduled to go over 90. But my group plays in the early spot...and we are off the course by 10.00. I'm gonna do it. I take a spray bottle with me...and hit myself with a cooling spray just about every hole.

Hit 'em good if you play. Be careful, though. Heat stoke is no fun.

yep, yep...heat stroke...not good...too many here already...:()

Can u Libs explain why the murder charge?

Explain what about the murder charge?
"Deundrea Holloway, 22, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of intentional homicide of an unborn child, one count of dismembering a human body,"

https://www.srhunterlaw.com/Criminal-Code-of-1961-Article-9-Intentional-Homicide-of-an-Unborn-Child

Derrick Chauvin was charged with 3 counts of murder for the murder of George Floyd. One count of first degree, one count of second degree and one count of third degree.

It seems you are easily confused and don't understand that the woman is not an unborn child and the death of the unborn child is under a separate law that specifically covers unborn children.

Viability, she is 8 months pregnant, and that is probably the reason for the murder charge.
The suspect has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of intentional homicide to an unborn child, dismembering a human body, offenses relating to motor vehicles, and concealment of a homicide death.

Unless she was pregnant with twins, the 2 charges of murder are for 2 different levels of murder and the 2 charges of homicide to an unborn child are for the 2 different levels of the crime chargeable under the law.

We know that legally and medically the definition is different from what potential parents, grandparents, friends, etc. refer to a pregnancy.

yes. the legal and medical fields are corrupted by anti-human nazis who have succeeded in brainwashing idiots like you.

Charging for the murder of the woman is legitimate.
Claiming a second murder is totally fucking idiotic.

Not surprising, though. Take away Chicago and Illinois is fucking Indiana.

So basically the difference in terminology boils down to "wanted" versus "unwanted" ...

what do you call the loss of the children who were to be born next month? And very possibly survived had she been found in time...
