There are no official statistics available as to where illegal immigrants leaving Arizona are heading. However places like Los Angeles, which is not that far from the Arizona/California border, is one of the closest cities in which they will feel welcome.

From the actions of that LA City Council, it appears that they are ready to assume the costs of the education and medical care for illegals. In addition, the citizens in that city will be glad to have illegal immigrants competing for low paying jobs that are difficult to find, even for legals. They seem happy to share space on the street corners where illegals will be chosen by businesses looking to avoid paying minimum wages.

Do you think that Arizona will eventually benefit from the exodus of illegal immigrants?

As more and more States/Counties/Cities enact similar laws, I believe businesses are going to find a larger incentive to make sure they are in compliance with the laws against hiring illegals.

Since AZ will more then likely be one of the first ones to have help solve this problem, those same businesses might find it beneficial to relocate or start up in AZ; because they will find it easier to follow those laws.
