There is a TREMENDOUS abuse of Medicaid in ERs. Medicaid mothers will bring their kids into the ER rather than taking them to a family practice or pediatrician. I had a mother bring her 2 1/2 year old in that fell with a toy in her mouth. When I examined her I saw a TINY abrasion about 1.8" square with no bleeding. I asked her mom why did you bring her into the ER for this? she replied "because she wanted to come"

So now we have 2 1/2 year old toddlers are making medical decisions.

There's so much abuse of the system... And there has been for a very long time....This is going to make everybody sit up and pay attention... And get rid of a lot of the abuse...and fraud... Nothing wrong with that... Get a job, do a little paperwork....That's what we all do .

The fraud that I posted is being prosecuted by the Trump Administration.

You do want fraud prosecuted, right?

Prosecuting the billions in fraud has nada to do with cutting Medicaid. It saves funding for Medicaid.

These issues are moot issues, fraud in Medicare is now being prosecuted, the border is closed, mass deportations are happening as we speak…violent illegal terrorists “first.”

These far left loons can whine til the cows come home but this is what the American people voted for and what they are getting.

The Ft Hood had similar problem with ER abuse. Servicemen and women would go to the ER rather than to a Family Practice doc . The base started charging $5 for each no emergency ER visit. A regular visit to the Family Practice clinic was free. That little bit solved the problem.

There are so many clinics here and other hospitals..the ERs are always jam packed...with non-emergencies...or situations that can easily be avoided...;)
