Ignorance and the Bible

Atheists cherry-pick, build strawman arguments then act superior for knocking them down.

We're all products of our upbringing to a large extent. It varies from person to person, especially in regards to family background, education and IQ. Atheists can believe they are "above it all", but they are humans just like the rest of us.
Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins made lucrative careers of building strawmen.

On the flip side, you have Joel Osteen and Kenneth Copeland thumping bibles and flagrantly abusing Christian belief for personal enrichment.

I've never learned anything substantive from any of them. I mostly profited from serious scholars of religion who don't pursue an agenda.

Your post is referred to as a “conversation ending cliché”. It’s the same as “you just wait and see!”

Juvenile response. As I said, a cliche.
Went over your head!

As Trump's current cabinet exemplifies, there are people who will sell their souls for money.

The atheists whine no one trusts them. Duh. No shit. They have no souls by their own admision. No wonder they rank on the low end of the favorability scale.

The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) facilitated transactions that involved gold and assets from Nazi Germany during World War II, which has led to controversy regarding its role in financing the Nazi regime. However, it was primarily intended to promote international monetary cooperation among central banks. Wikipedia University of Pennsylvania

Role of the Bank for International Settlements During WWII

Overview of the BIS

The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) is an international financial institution established in 1930, primarily to foster monetary cooperation among central banks. It is headquartered in Basel, Switzerland, and serves as a bank for central banks.

Financial Transactions with Nazi Germany

During World War II, the BIS was involved in several controversial financial transactions that benefited Nazi Germany:

  • Gold Transactions: The BIS accepted gold as interest payments from the German Reichsbank. Investigations after the war revealed that much of this gold was looted from central banks in occupied territories.
  • Neutrality Declaration: The BIS declared its neutrality in December 1939, but continued to conduct banking operations that included transactions with the Reichsbank, which were later scrutinized for their ethical implications.

Leadership and Controversy

Thomas McKittrick served as the president of the BIS from 1940 to 1946. His leadership during the war has been criticized due to the bank's dealings with the Nazis, including facilitating the transfer of looted gold. McKittrick's close ties with both the Allies and the Axis powers positioned him as a controversial figure in this context.

Conclusion

The BIS's actions during World War II, particularly its financial dealings with Nazi Germany, have led to significant scrutiny and debate regarding its role and responsibilities as a neutral institution during a time of conflict

^^^This is one hilarious sentence. Hard to imagine that someone with education could utter it with a straight face.

LOLOLOLOL
The only ones who think it hilarious are people who are doing it.

You are an atheist...and you blindly guess that there are no gods (or that it is more likely that there are no gods than that there is at least one.)

You MAY be correct...or the theists who blindly guess that there is at least one god MAY be correct. Don't know which it is...which is why anyone with an education would just say, "I do not know, but I do blindly guess..."
