I’d say it was Louie being Louie, a dimwit, but he points out what most already knew, if you lean right, it’s perfectly fine to lie, in fact, it is acceptable as a means to an end, their party leader fully endorses that axiom, even part of his shtick, the Big Lie, ethics ain’t a valued community on the right

And it was that long ago that the GOP swore that personal character was one of their major principles

As I noted, on the right, lying is an acceptable means to an end, we’ve seen it regularly over the last six years, Louie, being the dimwit he is, just slipped and admitted to the obvious

The topic is about the irony of Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) whining to the entire planet that he can't lie to Congress or the FBI without being held accountable for it.

You being an Oath-Breaker, I understand why you don't see anything wrong with his statement but assure you most people do.

FWIW, if it was up to me, I'd want all executions of traitors to be public hangings.

“It actually puts an exclamation point on the fact that we have a two-tiered justice system. If you’re a Republican, you can’t even lie to Congress or lie to an FBI agent or they’re coming after you. They’re gonna bury you. They’re gonna put you in the D.C. jail and terrorize and torture you and not live up to the Constitution there,” Gohmert responded.
