All Dershowitz said is the Justice Department said so. He gave zero reasons. The Justice Department is going to try to protect the president who is their boss. Strange you are using a liberal like Dershowitz as your source.

But there is nothing he can do about it. There is no constitutional provision for ever canceling an election or remaining in office. That is just silly scare mongering like many of the other claims people have made on JPP, call-in talk shows, etc.

I dunno. Cohen said in his testimony last week that should Trump lose, there wouldn't be a peaceful transition. He worked intimately for Trump for 12 years, so I would take him at his word on this.

Silly argument. It does not say a person can be prosecuted for drug smuggling or crossing the border illegally, either.

The Constitution gives Congress the power to make civil and criminal laws, there is nothing exempting people from that prosecution.
