According to the article, Trump offered the man a job, and cut him a check to keep him out of foreclosure. I think it might be explained by the context. Trump must have been exceptionally grateful for the capture of the attacker since it was his elderly mother involved.

Anyway, Trump did a nice thing that one time

I don't think Trump is a racist. I think he does have a problem w/ certain religions, and definitely w/ women, but I don't consider him to be a racist.

I don't know if President Trump is a racist or not, from what I've seen, he does have difficulties communicating with a lot of minority groups, but one example in seventy years of life doesn't answer the question

The incident proves nothing one way or the other.

Somebody did something for his mother so he rewarded the man.

BFD. Nothing that anyone else wouldn't have done if they had the money.

He could well afford it and probably could've afforded to give him even more.

Probably could've paid off the man's entire mortgage rather than just one or two payments.

Although it was not an unselfish act we should give him some cred for once doing something that could be considered kind..

Also in his defense, not like it's his charity where everyone but him gives money.....:whome:
