I think he cared about doing the things he promised to do......especially cutting taxes and appointing conservative judges...I also think Biden cared about doing the things he promised to do, like opening up the border and bankrupting the fossil fuel industry......

So far, Trump is running. He is not being stopped. His presidential crime wave is being investigated, as it should be.
Trump knows the presidency will keep him out of jail. He believes that running confers presidential protections. He is wrong but keeps saying prosecuting his crimes is election interference. That is why he said he was a candidate so early. He did not do rallies. He just played golf. He hoped it was his get-out-of-jail-free card.
