His legitimacy is being questioned by more than a black congressman, and the last thing a competent leader would do is personally attack a historical cultural icon in the Black Community on the weekend of the MLK holiday, as I noted, he either is completely clueless when it comes to minorities or he has no interest in unifying the Nation, both displays weakness

And everyone knows Trump, he's gone out of his way to make sure they do

Literally every other white republican would NEVER counter-punch a black congressman the weekend before MLK day.

Appears Trump isn't the only one who is clueless on minorities

In case you haven't noticed, Trump was elected President of the United States, that means everyone in the United States, even though the majority of voters didn't vote for him. As President he has a responsibility to represent all people, and personally insulting and alienating a large segment of that population is not what the Founding Fathers had in mind when they created a Chief Executive

You have to grow up, running the Nation isn't a game of gotcha nor reality TV, taking time to personally insult someone you don't agree with from the position of President just belittles the office

Do you honestly think that President Trump cares what he says or thinks or that what he says or thinks will have any effect upon the incoming administration? Lewis is a congressman who questioned the legitimacy of the election. That's considered pretty serious stuff in some quarters.

Are you suggesting that since Lewis happens to be black, that Trump should just sit there and take it?

Let me help you, first, Lewis is a historical and cultural icon in the black community, he offers his view on Trump, so then Trump, who is about to become the President of the United States, takes time out to personally attack Lewis on MLK weekend, a holiday set aside to recognize the history of Black Americans. Now how do you think that looks in the Black community, and what kind of judgement does it show for a leader who is suppose to be unifying the Nation?

Secondly, the guy is about to become President, the most powerful office in the world, and he finds it necessary to take time to personally and directly attack a critic because he doesn't like what he said? AS I noted, can't believe that is what the Founding Fathers had in mind when they created the office of Chief Executive
 
Donald Trump is not, and will never be, the legitimate President of the United States of America. He is an unelected, illegitimate fascist despot who rules against the will of the American people.

Unifying the nation is not a one way street. It has been a poor show of judgement for both Trump and Lewis.
