Being wholly owned, and having colluded with Russia during the election, are two very different things. The former does create the impetus for Russia to usher trump into the White House.

I didn't say that I don't believe his campaign colluded with Russia. All evidence we have points to the fact that it's very likely, but we only know a fraction of what Mueller has.

If he hadn't tried to cover up or obstruct, for the sole purpose of trying to hide his financial ties to Russia, then he wouldn't be in the mess that he's in now.
