I guess the obvious question is 'why didn't she win the primary'?

Aside from the fact that she was much more of a hawk than Obama, I stand by my assertion. Mind you, I'm not commenting on the validity of the claim w/respect to the mindset of the country.

Porky Pig could've beaten McCain/Palin, had he won the primary. So your point...while valid...is moot.
 
The most laughable part of that cartoon is the "everyone in politics and the media would be celebrating...".

Clinton presided over one of the best economies in decades. Was everyone in politics and the media celebrating? Or did his two terms see the biggest growth in hostile talk radio? The politicians from the other side of the aisle certainly didn't celebrate.

This idea that all opposition to Obama is racism is both ridiculous and tragic.

my wife and i were backing hilary, but obama had a better organized campaign than she did

i hope that she runs in 2016, i think that she has a good chance of winning

however,the repugs will harp on her illness that was likely caused by too many plane trips

We're going to have to wait and see the climate. By then, most Red states will have closed down all the womens' health centers. They'll be right to work states. And, they'll have tried to suppress the vote.


If the economy is somewhat stable, the republicans can harp on anything they want. The vast majority of Americans aren't buying what they're attempting to sell.

Nobody ever said 'all'.

If you want to give the legislators a pass, that's fine. But their constituents don't care why the legislators obstruct, as long as they obstruct.


Clinton still had the ability to carve out compromises with the republicans. Not so, today.

Well, I have my own ideas about why she didn't win the primary, but they're not because the country wasn't ready for a woman president. I think the country at large was, and that in fact, the country at large, expected HIllary to be the next President. I don't want to rehash that primary, I just disagree with your conclusion.

I don't agree with that at all. If that was true Obama would have beaten Hilliary in a landslide in the primaries but he didn't, it was a very close race. I think Hilliary lost her opportunity to be President there and I don't think she'll run in 2016.

perhaps, but she is the best candidate the dims have and there will be a lot of pressure on her to run

Now, whether she is nominated remains to be seen. We will see what the white male left can dig up, throw in, and proceed to lecture us about this time. Unless they come up with Elizabeth Warren they can go fuck themselves.

Hillary will run because she feels entitled after carrying the water for Bill and Barry. The left will look for a Hispanic and Hillary will lose to that person the same way she lost to Barry

as a 67 (68 next month) year old white male (well mostly, i am 6% native american) i resent that

not all older white males are conservative, some of us remember our 'hippie' days from the 60s/70s

Perhaps, but I doubt it. What is certain is either Hillary will win or the candidate she endorses (read handpick) will win the election.
