A gunman shot a 20-year-old man in the arm and 14-year-old Adonis Mera in the back — and the teen's family fears he may never walk again.


Police are searching for the suspected shooter — described as a black male with dreadlocks in a red hooded shirt — and investigating the possibility that the shooting may have been over a coat.

Regarding the OP I'm not sure what your point is in highlighting this.....

I do agree that the phrase "if Obama had a son..." is rather redundant. The fact that the right continues to parrot this phrase pokes fun at the death of a young man, not to mentions it devalues life based on your subjective notion of the president and your dislike of his opinions on social matters.

Cops have charged 16-year-old Corey Dunton in the Bryant Park shooting that he allegedly bragged about on Facebook.

Dunton, who was hit with attempted murder and other charges, coveted another boy's jacket and came back shooting after the wearer refused to give it up, police say.
