THIS I agree with, I wish that the first woman president would do it without that perception.

It could however be argued that HRC did it despite her husband, not because of him.

But the U.S. federal security & intelligence agencies that investigated it exhaustively say otherwise.
Who am I supposed to believe? Some of the world's most talented, best informed professionals that participated in the investigations?
Or some anonymous poster on the Internet who harbors an opinion based on relative squat?

She's a smart driven woman but she's where she is because of her husband. She doesn't move from Arkansas to New York and become Senator like she did without her husband's name.

Then add in the Clinton Foundation's continual sleezey Wikileaks.
" tarnished" is something that can be cleaned up. Clinton's are beyond ethical repair.

How many women have been married to powerful men.

How many women have held powerful positions in government and corporate America?

How many of all those women have become President of the United States?

Only one .. and she did that in spite of her husband.
 
Knowing about HRC's life and early ambitions (Before she married Bill) I suspect she very likely would have ended up President of the United States had she not married him.

Maybe my daughter will be able to overcome my feelings toward Hillary. By the time she'll be old enough to understand Hillary will be gone anyway. But no I don't put her on a pedestal for riding her husband's coat tails.
