If God were real, you wouldn’t need a book

ZenMode Error: logical ineptitude

You just asked the wrong question. The correct question is "how have you verified that there are no gods?" What experiment can I perform to clearly show me that there are no gods?
How have you verified there are gods? What was your experiment.

You better show your work :laugh:

[answer to question that was not asked omitted]
You did not explain how these undetectable/inobservable/nonconfirmable quarks were somehow detected/observed/confirmed. You keep chanting that they were detected/observed/confirmed as your basis for claiming that quarks have been discovered, not merely theorized.

The researchers whose continued funding was results-driven needed to show some results so they "declared" the discovery of quarks and everybody was happy. It was something that couldn't be proven false. Nonetheless, no "quarks" have been discovered; quarks are merely theorized particles that cannot be detected according to the exact same theory that theorizes their existence. To declare detection is to destroy the very theory of which they theoretically exist. This is how religions work, by the way.

I'm intrigued. What is this "repentence" thing, and why doesn't anyone just pent correctly the first time so he doesn't have to repent.

Is that all you have to do? i.e. utter a few magic words?
Apparently that's all he has.

To enlighten for both of you:

The word 'repent' is a combination from Latin, first entering the English lexicon around the 13th century.
The Latin 'penitire' means to regret. The 're-' prefix here means to negate, or remove such regret.

The process of repentance is a multi-step process:
* Acknowledge the error.
* Try to make it right. If you have wronged someone, do what you can to mitigate it and seek their forgiveness.
* Forgive yourself.
* Prevent the error in the future. Return to a path free of it.
* For the Christian, follow the promptings and teachings of Jesus Christ, for if you follow these steps, He will also forgive you.

This process is designed to remove that regret (or 'pent') as you put it.
It allows the person you wronged to go on with their life.
It allows YOU to go on with your life.

These are part of the teachings in the Bible. There is a way out of that regret, but it is more than just not committing the error again

Correct. Evidence is not quantity, but there can be more or less evidence and there are varying qualities of evidence....
Irrational. Paradox. You cannot argue both sides of a paradox! Evidence is NOT a quantity.
Here, let me give you a really simple example to 'help' you understand. (Since you're going to play dumb, I'm going to play along as though you are dumb)

Police find a dead body. The only evidence they have is DNA on a glass and a blurry, distant image on surveillance video.

Police find a second dead body. The evidence they have is DNA on a glass, hair, a finger print, a witness who saw someone enter the house, HD quality video in a well lit part of the yard and Ring camera footage of a car.

Do you see the difference in quantity and quality of evidence or should I type again, but slower?
Evidence is not a quantity.
The Bible and any other evidence for a religion is NOT a police investigation or a court case. False equivalence fallacy.

You cannot make ANY evidence just disappear.
