IMO Trump being made ineligible to run would be even worse for D chances in 24. Desantis is a bit less polarizing than Trump. This alone in contrast to much of the nation hating Biden and the D's is more than enuff to bring home the win. But there is another factor involved here. Trump Voters tend to absolutely LOVE Desantis as well,...in fact most want Desantis to be Trumps running mate. To top it all off,...the anger and rage that would result from not allowing Trump to run would cause voters to come out of he woodwork in support of Desantis.
Now,.....I KNOW that none of the usual suspects around here will admit these things, ...Except Concart who has already thrown in the towel. I give him points for being a realist in this case. But the rest of you? Go ahead,....tell me how wrong I am,....tell me how old Joe or one of your other slugs will easily defeat trump or Desantis. Its an EGO thing,...we know.
