If CNN wants respet perhaps they should consider becoming a journalistic operation again.
Until then they deserve to be treated as the bad joke they have chosen to become.

I agree with you on this. Ever since Trump got elected they have become the national enquirer of MSM. They are so biased against Trump it makes me cringe. They are no longer news, they are anti Trump media.

What? Do you have a problem with the "1st" amendment comrade? Speech is protected in this republic just as is the right to a free press. The problem is the fact that the left has continually attempted to establish a "false premise" in comparing the individual right of free speech to the press's inherent duty to report THE NEWS...not create THE NEWS. There is no comparison. If you can't stand the heat "stay out of the kitchen". The press is simply overwhelmed with Trump's ability to jump right over their heads with his tweeter account and go directly to THE PEOPLE...thus leaving them powerless to direct the narrative on any given story line.

This is the only administration in US HISTORY where the press follows the lead of the president before engaging in reporting....he has turned their world upside down. Each morning they await the daily TWEET of the president before deciding what story goes best with the daily narrative.

Indeed there is a great difference in responsibility and the right of free speech. When a supposed news outlet engages in "yellow journalism" that responsibility becomes evidently clear and transparent. A free press clause in the Constitution was included and made distinct from individual free speech because the press has the duty to the citizens of the United States to engage in oversight of the governments actions.

Today the press....both in print and with the medium of TV has become nothing but a polarized entertainment industry...its all about ratings not TRUTH. The more sensational the better the ratings. The news networks still assume they have the power to mold public opinion by controlling the narrative, this last election demonstrated them be more BS than NEWS....and having lost the power to manipulate they are in "revenge" mode.

To compare a "private" opinion to the presses duty to report news is comparable to a teacher getting into a shouting match with a grade school student. When the student displays more talent than the teacher its time to back up 10 yards and punt. The 4th estate has morphed into the 5th column and is akin to the social acts of despotic propaganda demonstrated by Hitler and Stalin of the 20th century.

Ya see there comrade the difference? The president did not lose his right of free "opinionated" speech simply because he became the president of the United States.....just as the press does not possess the right to respond to that opinion with anything other than reporting what was said. The press does not get to offer opinion in place of factual reporting...their duty is to simply report the news, NOT MOLD IT to fit their agenda and attempt to tell the public what they have just witnessed. That right to make up one's OWN MIND still belongs to the individual...there is no collective right to print or report BS in place of facts...that right of a free press does not exist and never has. If you want to be entertained read the damn national enquirer....or watch the Colbert report.

The slow creep of bias into the news turned into virtual protest march of bias during the election. Trump had liberal media unhinged. Since the election there has been no change.

But Trump is such dumbass he deserves to have his parade pissed on.
