Illegal immigration is significantly more than a traffic ticket! You don't get deported because of a traffic ticket.

ANY traffic ticket can be taken to court for trial. The judge or jury must decide guilt or innocence like any trial.
OR you can just plead guilty and pay the ticket, OR you can take the ticket to the judge and plead for a reduction of the penalty (mitigation hearing), which is simply pleading guilty and saying you're sorry.

Most tickets result in fines if you are convicted. Some can result in jail time and suspension or even total loss of your driving priveleges.
