I tried to vote today!

The line was out the door, down the street, into the parking lot and on the lawn of the Courthouse next door. I asked the poll worker, he said two hours, and it has been like that all day, people were lined up when he opened the doors.

I early voted for Barak Obama last election and the line was out the door but not into the parking lot, it was about a 45 min wait.



This morning I was at the downtown Courthouse, voting is across the street at the police station, the parking lot next door had a HUGE Hillary tent with maybe a thousand people having a huge rally. I heard they served hamburgers and hotdogs at lunchtime. Tonight, after the polls close they are going to have a beer truck and a band.

btw just for my curiosity is it ok having a rally so close to the voting station? Or whatever you want to call a huge hillary tent filled with people.

There is a rule, but they were following it, you have to be... I think 50 feet away.

Depends on the state. In NY the had to be something like 100 years. Here in NC, like 50 feet.

I would have had lunch and a beer on Hillary as well- no wonder there were so many people there.

i get that..and for kids that's fine. Do your kids understand civics? do you teach them now tht it's not offered in school?

I'll vote for Trump tomorrow..hopefully for some future populist..although i'm to the point i look forward to it
as much as getting my cavity filled by the dentist afterwards...
