That aside, regarding the real Jamie Lee Curtis, that rumor that she is a hermaphrodite has always struck me as a viral form of misogyny. She adopted rather than give birth, so she can't be a real woman right? The narrative stinks and I don't believe the rumor at all. In her day she was a great looking woman with a body that was almost unbelievable, but it's all real and you only have to check out her mother, Janet Leigh, to know that.
Today she's a woman who defies our cultural expectations of beauty and refuses to dye her hair or have plastic surgery. And yet, I think she is still amazing looking. She is also one of the very few women in hollywood who bucked the Patriarchy that reigns in Hollywood to denounce Roman Polanski, the child rapist.
I admire her. Jamie Lee Curtis is not USLOYAL. They are two different people. I have found that I have zero problem keeping them separate in my mind. lol
