These special elections are, IMHO, the canary in the coal mine. Democrats aren't just winning them. They are outperforming expectations by double digit percentages. There are more and more voices speaking out against not just Trump, but the entire cult. The MAGA cult can't help themselves. They are overplaying their hand at every turn. Dobbs has energized women. But instead of recognizing their huge mistake, Republicans are doubling down on it. Book banning isn't a good look. WOKE is becoming a tired cliche. And most people don't like seeing others being treated as less than human because of their sexual orientation. MAGA Republicans are being exposed for what they are. Small, frightened, hateful, angry people. Most people also don't like rich people buying Supreme Court Justices. And they are not stupid. Trumps ceiling once he is convicted is 40%. And he will be convicted well before the election. He has been exposed as a fraud, a phony, a horrible businessman. And all the Republicans who are complicit by their silence do not compare favorably to the chorus of voices condemning the twice impeached, four times indicted, found liable for sexual assault failed businessman and traitor.
And last, but certainly not least....... Taylor Swift is registering young people in droves. I'm sure the effort is on to figure out how best to smear her. It should happen any day now.
