I Ran the Caucus Tonight... With, IMO, a surprising win for Santorum...

I thought you lived a boring life; now I'm convinced.
I'd have chosen the more exciting activity of watching paint dry.

I'd been keeping an eye on the current total of delegates each candidate has gained. So far it is:

Romney - 87
Santorum - 35
Gingrich - 33
Paul - 13

If the top three continue to split states up, rather than have Romney sail way on ahead, then Paul could earn a sizable amount of delegates through perennial second-place finishes, and have a large effect on the Convention. For example, the Paul delegates could ensure that their least favorite candidate doesn't win (probably Santorum, although they could hate one of the other two more), and they could impact the 2012 GOP Platform.
