That was one of the least "healing" speeches I have ever heard in terms of when power shifts from one party to the other. He's planning to go it alone, and that's fine, but it will energize the opposition even more.

great speech. called out radical islam, was very populist and inspiring. Love the unapologetically America first vibe. Dont' know if he can deliver on factory jobs though. Automation alone is going to kill all that shit. Manufacturing is dead.

Sometimes we have to take off the partisan blinders and admit that the other side is not mosters. Obama was not a crazy foreign born terrorist that was trying to ruin the country. He was trying to make it great in his own way. I disagree with some if not most of his policy, but he wasn't some evil doer like many on the far right made him out to be.
Shame on the 40 some odd democrat congresspeople who decided to skip it. Shame.
