The party you blindly support tried to restrict free speech. They tried to interfere with the Democratic process by trying to prevent their opponents in their party from participating in the primary. They tried to then block RFKJr. from being on the ballot. They tried to imprison their opponents. Then they ignored the will of 14.5 million Americans and their own voters and they just appointed a candidate. So let's not pretend to be holier that though about the Constitution.

Last night at the 85th Anniversary of the German-American Bund Rally you might come to think of the MAGA folks as caring less about some people than others.

Taking a bullet to the ear narrowly having your brains blown out then standing up and showing a sign of defiance and shouting Fight Fight Fight is pretty tough. We want him and our government to FOLLOW the immigration laws and not just ignore them.

This is flawed logic. No one is suggesting that today's MAGA are 1930's Nazis. But there is a similarity in overall approach. First you find a minority group on which to lay the blame for all that is troubling the people of the country. Then you systematically demonize them by making up lies like "they're eating the pets" or "they're rapists" or "they're raging criminals", etc. That makes it easier to get the people to support relatively draconian measure to take care of the "problem".

It is kind of philosophy that enshrines OUR genetics and denigrates the OTHER.

It is a movement dedicated to ONE MAN. A strong man who promises to fix all the problems. Just give him the reins of power and all your enemies will be vanquished and destroyed utterly.

MAGA is OK with Jews (so long as they stay in Israel, no doubt, I mean the good MAGA folks at Charlottesville were pretty emphatic about jews not replacing them) but that doesn't mean they aren't nazi-like.

Actually Trump specifically condemned in the strongest terms Neo Nazis and White Supremacists at Charlottesville SNOPES. :palm:
