Just so we're on the same page... are you talking about Clinton's role re: the US only? Because I see that we were only one of 19 nations who took part in that intervention.

she met with the NTC's Jabril, and came away supporting military action to kill Qaddafi ( surpassing any no fly zone)

I was looking it up on Wiki, there's a timeline and this: 14 March 2011: In Paris at the Élysée Palace, before the summit with the G8 Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sarkozy, who is also the president of the G8, along with French Foreign Minister Alain Juppé met with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and pressed her to push for intervention in Libya.[SUP][61]
