He did have a 2020 social media where he praised a communist mayor of India and said "the kind of mayor NYC needs".

But, if you are really looking for "proof" which I am sure you will deny, watch this video on YouTube. You probably don't have the bandwidth to watch all of it, but at 10:08 mark he said "....whether it is the end goal of seizing the means of production". He is clearly citing that as a goal. Now if one uses those words yet doesn't call themself a communist, what would you assume they were?

If the best you can do is say he was taken out of context without explaining how then you know you have nothing. Why can't you admit that Mamdani is a commie? How does it impact you? You say you don't want bread lines.
