It's interesting that Texas got $57 BILLION from the Feds last year to pay almost 1/3 of the Texas expenditures but somehow only Texas is paying the $1 BILLION they want to complain about?
I tell you what, Texas, the rest of the US will pay for all expenditures for what you call illegal aliens if you return all the other federal money you are using in your state for other things.

In what form was that money given by the Feds and how much tax do Texans pay to the Feds every year?

That money was money given directly to Texas by the Feds and spent by the Texas legislature and is listed in their annual government's budget. Then they whine that they have to spend some of that Fed money on Fed programs while pretending that the money was collected through state taxes.

Is part of that Federal expense military bases? Why not just stop giving states more money than they generate? Let the rich get richer and the poor get poorer per Washington DC practice?
