I don’t want anything to do with white people. Lebron James

James was brutality honest during the interview and recalled the way he thought 20 years ago, upon entering St. Vincent-St, Mary High School. I’m like, ‘I’m going to this school to play ball, and that’s it. I don’t want anything to do with white people. I don’t believe that they want anything to do with me. I want no friends. It’s me and my boys, we going to high school together, and we here to hoop.’ ” said four-time MVP winner that white people never saw before.

So, let me see if I got this straight, Lebron James, who is now 35, said something he thought "20 years ago," meaning when he was 15, and you are attempting to tell us it is significant? Fifteen, what was, a sophomore in high school?

I don't think anyone would be outraged no matter what Tom Brady said when he was a fifteen year old high school kid

LeBron said this was his mindset going into high school. If Tom Brady came out today and said his mindset going into high school was I'm not going to F with any black people it likely wouldn't be received the same way. There are many different dynamics involved in the scenarios being discussed but the response wouldn't be the same.

So blacks dont have to apologize for statements they made in HS but whites do? Got it..Black Privilege

Nope. If he was raised in a racist family and had said the same thing when he was 15, it would be similar.

Lebron was a racist in HS ... meaning he was raised a racist

LeBron isn't saying this was something he learned at home, he was saying this was attitude from his life experiences and what he saw in his community (at that time in his life).

Correct, nobody would care what a fifteen year old mindset was when he was a sophomore in high school

A document tweet of the time doesn't compare to a discussion of what someone remembers they thought when they were fifteen, besides, Allen being only 24, high school isn't that far removed

Yeah that's true. People had the same attitude back then.

Tucker a week or two ago had a black guy on who said that the two great problem groups, the ones driving the insanity we see on the streets now, are self loathing mostly ignorant whites, and wealthy black men...mostly athletes.

That stick with me.

THIS figures. What a RACIST FOOL James is. He's a great basketball player, but has the intelligence of an enlightened eggplant. 'Sigh'.:|

Actually people would care, guaranteed. Look at the sh*t he received to his interview with Howard Stern when he claimed he was colorblind to his teammates in the locker room. You don't think people would bring up that he said he hated black people as a kid?

I have no problem with what LeBron said. He was young and just spoke his reality. But a white person saying what LeBron said would not get the same response. No way. It's the Oppressor/Oppressed relationship.
