I can't believe we don't already do this

and how have you figured that out, Thingie?......by stating it and having four liberals repeat it while holding hands and humming "uuuuuuummmmm".....

Um, no PMP. That's an actual fact.

Man, are you guys ignorant. If there is an incident that the ban would have prevented, please point to it. And no - it isn't San Bernardino.

of course it isn't a fact.....its your opinion.....there is no way to know what would have happened differently if we had examined visa applicants more carefully over the last fifteen years......and why do you ignore San Bernadino......is it an uncomfortable truth?......

Hey, dopey: we can very easily look at every attack that has happened on American soil, and see if the current ban that Trump is trying to implement would have prevented the perpetrators of those attacks from coming into the country. And they would not have - and that includes San Bernardino.

This has been extensively discussed ever since Trump proposed the ban, even by conservatives. The spin they give it is that there is a much greater threat now, so we should do it as a preventative measure - but no one who knows anything claims that it would have stopped anything up until now.

It's really amazing how much you don't know.

please demonstrate that not reviewing the social media of the wife of the San Bernadino killer would not have revealed her radical views.......do not hesitate to use facts if you recognize what they look like......

didn't he issue an executive order that we would increase the number of refugees we would accept?....didn't he negotiate a secret agreement with Australia to take any refugees that didn't pass their vetting?.....was any of that done with congressional approval?.....

None of those things do what cfm claimed.

Did he suggest that cfm or anyone else be personally forced to house refugees? No, he did not.

The list was just to mock your stupid claim about terrorist threats being hypothetical ... and proves that point.

Its not the past 20 years of terrorists murders of US citizens anyway, we're concerned with today, thus Obama's list of dangerous country's....even so, maybe some attacks
like this could have been prevented...Iran and Somalia were on the list.

Iraq-born Muslim man Faleh Hassan Almaleki, 48, intentionally hit his daughter with his car and killed her because she had become “too Westernized.” (honor killing)
Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar, an Iranian-American, born in Iran, seeking to “avenge the deaths of Muslims worldwide”
Somali immigrant Mustafa Mohamed, 30, slashes and injures six people at a retirement home in Alexandria, Virginia.

but as I pointed out...we don't know, the list of past terrorists attacks don't tell us, where or how, many of these Muslim murderers got to this country...some were born here, some not.
And terrorists obviously travel from their native countrys to other places...so no list can be foolproof....
the point is, they are ALL Muslims....and the list now, as created by Obama, is different now than it might have been in the past....so spare me the bullshit.
The world is different now than it was 20 years ago....

Unless, of course, your aim was to point out that the present list should be even bigger than the 7 countrys listed...to that, I could agree....but then, you nor I know what presidents know, do we.....so we don't get to make the calls. You're dismissed.

So, show me how the ban would have done that over the last 20 years.

San Bernadino? The woman was a Pakistani native who came here and apparently it never occurred to anyone to look for evidence of radicalism in her social media accounts.

To do so, would be declared Islamophobic.

I can tell you exactly how this would go under liberal leadership and using your 'logic': we'd go on trusting the UN to vet these people, we'd go on asking them the same questions; or asking for papers which many of them aren't going to have. If ISIS doesn't take advantage of it they are TOO STOOPID.

And they aren't.

So, when one sneaks in and kills several, or several score or better, innocent Americans, the liberals would say 'well crap, I guess maybe should vet them better'.

Trump is basically saying F' that. And a majority of voters agree with him.

Your spin is so ridiculous.

"Hypothetical" related to the threats from those specific countries, that this ban would have prevented.

Glad I'm dismissed. Hearing you spin & apologize all day is basically the opposite of enlightening.

Who has suggested forcing you to house refugees?

If you that it is such a great idea for them to come to the U.S., certainly you would support personally helping them by having them stay in your home. Show us that you believe they aren't a security and terror threat by putting them up where you live. Unless you're willing to set the example, your words are meaningless much like they are meaningless on all sorts of bleeding heart views.

All I can hope is WHEN one of them does something you claim they won't do, it's you and your family that are directly and negatively affected by the results. You'll deserve it.

How pathetic. You think a guy running over his daughter is a terrorist act? How would the travel ban have stopped it? Couldn't he have run her over in Iraq? According to you idiots, she has no rights anyway, so what is the problem?

So, no one is forcing you to do what others refuse to do personally.

Never said he did, NL. What I expected from someone that claims to care about those refugees so much is a personal touch from the ones doing the claiming. As with other types of bleeding heart programs, you believe everyone being required to fund something is the same as if you did it yourself personally.

I don't give a shit about them. What goes on in their country is their problem. Since you claim you care, prove it.

So, no one is forcing you to do what others refuse to do personally.

So you refuse to do personally what you think should be done to help these people? Got it. The typical bleeding heart Liberal claiming to care but passing along the costs to the taxpayers while claiming credit for what he did to help.

Maybe one of the refugees you have such a concern for, WHEN they commit a terrorists act, will run over you.

Never said he did, NL.

smh

Your fellow klansman, PiMPle did.

What? Were you home schooled?
