Jarod, you moron, you cut off the context. Obama was refering to the building of roads and your quote above excludes the reference.

We just explained how Obama is wrong to assert tax payers didn't build this country. It's a simplistic notion that's ingrained in liberal ideology... that government is a source of creation instead of the libertarian position that governemnt is a conduit for our collective needs.

Repubs seem to support the authoritarian government elements just as much as liberal democrats with the difference being the elements they support. Repubs don't mind DHS and patriot act bullshit to save us from the manufactured crisis of CIA-funded Al Qaida false flag operations and the liberals are hell bent on green police to save the planet from the manufactured crisis of anthropogenic-carbon-dioxide-induced global warming
