I don’t consider you one of the brighter posters here so I’ll provide a definition: Definition of analogyWhat a bizarre post. I'm talking about the Spanish Steps in Rome, not the fucking Melph.
1a : a comparison of two otherwise unlike things based on resemblance of a particular aspect
b : resemblance in some particulars between things otherwise unlike : SIMILARITY

Hope you understand the definition.
Uh, that made no sense. Rephrase.Your bogus holding was that flirtation in Italy is benign.
Glad you had a nice visit to Rome. I LIVED in northeast italy for a year. What's puzzling is why you're even picking this fight.
Visited and spent time in Bolzano, Padua, Venice, Milano, skied Madonna and Cortina. Fluent in Südtirol dialect (which is basically Austrian or Bavarian) . Spoke very basic, passable Italian while there. (One year is not enough for me to be an intermediate speaker.)
Irrelevant. But if you consider sitting on a stoop and catcalling to be romantic - well to each their own. Never once witnessed that when I LIVED there . Besides, we have other differences regarding what is considered romantic.Aside from France, Italy is probably known as the most "romantic" country on the planet. That's not a bad thing.
The Spanish steps is not run of the mill Italy.I already said I actually love it. But the way that your standard, run of the mill dude flirts with women in Italy will get you arrested in the US.
The demographics of the membership was - gasp - overwhelmingly Italian. Probably mostly catholic.Your "golf club" (I can easily imagine the demographic there) notwithstanding.
