Cuomo had to resign, as he himself said, the State would suffer and his agenda would be sidetracked with a prolonged impeachment process. The new Governor was part of his Administration, and won’t alter anything with only two years left.

By the next election the downstate Democrats will dump the upstate Governor and the party/State will continue as is

He was far from “the end,” if he wanted, he had enough support in the party to continue thru an impeachment process, today’s decision was to serve the best interests of the State and save it that distraction

I guess I win the Captain Obvious award for that one, haha. I’m just not buying the whole “this was a principled decision” argument. He wanted to stay in power and reached a point where he basically couldn’t.

Right or wrong his desire to stay in power is basically human nature imo.

I felt similar, that this was an 'Al Franken' repeat. Dems shooting themselves in the foot.
Hopefully you are wrong about Trump escaping his deserved Destiny.

Well. Al Franken was a Comedian at the time, so 'acting immature' is part of the Job. :)

So far, Cuomo has been 'convicted' in the Media. I have no idea what the actual 'facts' are.

You know, Anonymoose, I can visualize yourself 'accidentally' bumping into a Dental Hygienist's ass on more than one occasion. :(
