Yes, this guy was part of the "spotters" group. Everyone is underestimating the size and complexity of the organized resistance. They cover the entire Twin Cities area, including suburbs twenty miles out.

Trump's mistake was announcing he was going to blanket the city with 2000 and then 1500 more agents who were hastily hired, and all appear to have zero de-escalating skills.
Lurch is correct, raiding Home Depot parking lots with truckloads of agents is a stupid and unecessary thing to do.

Outside of a totally bat shit craze democrat controled legislature, a Soros-installed AG, and a Governor whose wife thought the smell of burning buildings was wonderful, MN and Minneapolis have two major problems.

1. Billions in known fraud, 99% of which is coming from one particular community.

2. Organized theft rings stemming from gang activity. Their activity was much muted when the power to prosecute was taken away from MPLS by the angry lesbian chief prosecutor and turned over to the Feds.

Trump needs to pull everybody out, and Tampon Tim needs to agree to allow the local police, or what is left of their force, to do their jobs unaided by the feds.

Trump's other option is to completely pull out, declare the city a range-free zone, and announce there will be no arrests made by any federal agencies in the state for any crime, regardless of its severity.

Tampon Tim, it is nowup to you to handle everything.

For the most part, they are. In Minneapolis, someone has dumped millions into organizing protests in MN. They are harassing and hindering LEO from doing their jobs, and the deaths of those two citizens are a direct result of their participation in the blockages.
Now, I am not defending the actions of ICE or Border Patrol, but the governor and mayor are directly responsible for cooperating and providing crowd control so ICE can do their jobs. In Minneapolis, the police so far have provided no support, and the result has been an obvious disaster.

I don't appreciate the overstating of arrests coming out of the government, and for Gods sake, stop with the day laborers and inconsequential workers. Their mission started with the precept of going after criminals, and Tampon Tim and Mom jeans Frey not helping, things expanded into the shitstorm it has become.
Now that the facts are mostly out, in my opinion, this shooting is a homicide.

Two white people showed up at a trigger happy ICE event and lost their lives....meanwhile, 2 people of color, both men are dead. One Haitian, the other American....nobody knows their names and could care less. They didn't show up at a rally, they simply existed and one just followed the law.

He reached to his back and came out with a dark object. Can you guarantee he didn't have a back up gun at the point when the agent decided to shoot knowing what they knew? . I have carried two guns before. The agent may not have seen the Sig P320 being removed he may have thought Pretti had retrieved the gun. Hindsight is 20/20. You have to look at what the agents knew in the moment. There is a video of two agents checking Pretti's body after shooting saying where is the gun? They obviously thought he was still armed.
