Hurricane update

Tree in backyard fell on power lines, after a great fireworks show... the power went out for good .
If the worst you have to deal with is losing electricity all is well. I lost electricity after an ice storm up here one winter. Took a week to restore it. It was not fun. Had to wear three layers of clothes to stay warm.

Yeah it really sucks to be prepared for natural disasters doesn't it?

I remember all of the disdain heaped upon "peepers" by you lefties. That is why I don't feel sorry for you when you suffer for your poor decisions.

I don't feel sorry for GayRod but I do feel sorry for his kids as they have to suffer for his idiocy.

No secondary heat source? I have propane for that. Also can start the oil boiler with an AC conversion on my Jeep.

up and running this morning, my office has power so the family is going to hang out for a bit of AC.

Would that be a generator powered by an internal combustion engine, Mr. Green?

Hilarious. Warmists want everybody else to sacrifice so they can congratulate themselves on how green America is.

:rofl2:

Try running a heat pump off of one.

Everyone should have a wood burning stove. Nature provides me with all the heat I need

There are only three necessities in life. Shelter, heat and food/water. The rest is bonus.

Everyone should have contingency for those three

No the office has grid power. Still on generator at home though. Two hours in AM and two at night, keep the fridge cold and charge the phones... let the kids watch TV.

Lots of chainsaw work this morning... then back to the office once the heat of the day sets in.
