Hurricane looting has begun

Don't care.
Flood insurance covers flood damage.
Looting is not covered by flood insurance.

Looting is covered by business insurance.

If you want to kill someone for stealing a few dollars' worth of stuff, I won't stop you.

After you've done it you may feel differently.

The financial aspect alone may not be worth it. Especially if you have to pay an attorney to defend you and post bond to get out of jail.

YEP and look at the businesses elsewhere, where they pulled out after being looted and burned.

GEE, I wonder if they pulled out; because rebuilding back in the same area, would have extremely higher insurance rates.

If they make shooting a looter legal, then what lawsuit?

And what in the hell, is your idea of a "few dollars worth of stuff"?

Risk of doing business. Most small businesses fail. If getting looted is the cause, that's unfortunate. The risk is always there.

I'm not going to kill another person unless I'm sure they mean to kill me. That's just me.

Nobody is trying to make you agree with me.

Apart from the moral issue of killing someone needlessly, I think you might find that in most jurisdictions, it's a legal nightmare for the shooter. You would more than likely (depending on circumstances, evidence, witnesses, etc,) regret it.

I hope you never have to find out.

That's a big "if", and nobody mentioned a civil suit, but you raise another reason it might not be economically smart to gun someone down for stealing a few dollars worth of stuff.

I consider looting a business that I owned, the same as breaking and entering my home.
If I'm there and someone comes in through the door or a window, they're going to go back out the same way; just weighing a little bit more, from the lead.

I'm guessing that you don't actually own a business, so it's a moot point.

Talk to any officer that's been involved a shooting in the line of duty (if they'll talk to you) if you think it's a game.

Your racist friends see this as an excuse to kill black people...
Are you telling them they shouldn't?

Did I say it was a game or are you just drawing a supposition or maybe it's a conjecture?

Do you consider looting, just a game?

In my house or if I'm wearing them yes. I don't know the laws in all the states and all situations but if I ran into looters and it was lawful to do so any they refuse to desist, yes.

You would shoot someone for stealing a pair of shoes...established.
Would you shoot someone for stealing a loaf of bread?

Where did I say or imply that looters are only "black people"?

Can you provide anything that supports your comment, or are did you decide to just :fap again?
The people in the racist's video appear to be black.

Would you shoot someone for stealing a pair of shoes?
Would you shoot someone who is white for stealing a pair of shoes?
