Hurricane Idalia

I can certainly agree with that!

But, she's probably not the Anti-Woke hater that her husband is though.

I've never seen her mention that word.

Me neither but some of her appearances and comments indicate she's supportive of that particular political strategy...which seems to be blowing up in Ron's face.

I mostly have just seen her as arm candy so far!

Ron is not even as popular in Florida as he once was. She was a main part of the reason why he was so popular in the beginnings though!

He may be challenged in next governor's contest.

I bet Casey is still involved in local sports, so the Jacksonville crowd probably see's her a lot on TV.

She was once quite the Sports Jockey in Jacksonville!

Trump tried to start a "roomer" today that Ron would drop out of the race to run for Senator. Agreed on Ron's sinking popularity. By attacking gays and "woke", I think he's blown his chance to run for Senator.

He should have done that when he was a US House Member! He was only there for a year though! It may be too late now for that- given his radical Anti-woke Black History-banning gay-bashing governorship!

This is a great place remember that the official IAN forecasts were substantially wrong on both track and strength.
Another media Superbowl. I think the media have a joint venture with the grocery stores and Home Depot on these things. I'm on the other side of the state from where this storm is forecasted to make landfall and the media are acting like the Apocalypse is about to hit.

Anything bad that happens to FL is responded to with glee, they are the unclean, they deserve to be hurt for the crime of resisting the WOKE Revolution.

My favorite part of natural disasters in Red States is when their anti-Federal governors start whining for Federal assistance. :)

Don't you live in Texas? Isn't that a red state? Don't you guys get hurricanes and ask for federal assistance? Aren't all those leftard ninnies in your so-called "sanctuary cities" whining for federal assistance? You lefties are always bitching about red staters being poor and uneducated, but you balk at paying more taxes to help us when nature gets bitchy.

What makes me puke though, is that you have a "favorite part" of natural disasters in Red States. What's your "least favorite part"? The republicans who survive?

Pretty damn obvious that you've never experienced a natural disaster.

When has Abbott bashed the Federal government except about not doing their job on illegal immigration control? It's not Abbott's job to initiate Immigration Reform in Congress. As Governor, he can only ask Congress to do it. Since they haven't, Abbott as started a campaign of "sharing the wealth" from his southern border state. DeSantis' fuck up was his tricksterism tactics, but the idea of exporting illegals, especially to "Sanctuary Cities", is fair game.

Congress needs to initiate immigration reform. Even GW Bush knew it and both Democrats and Republicans attacked him for it. Why?

:cruisewhat:Wow. Didn't know you were such a big dodgeball fan! :downvote:

Try to stay on topic. Red state or blue, they both "whine" for federal assistance for various reasons at various times. What concerns me is that you apparently take some perverse satisfaction when it is a red state's turn. You know what my "favorite part" of a natural disaster is? Not having one, that's my favorite part.

Immigration "reform" is ignorant and unnecessary. We've had immigration LAWS in place for over a century. Just make an honest attempt to enforce them.

Posted like a true Trumper. So the wall is unncessary too, amirite? Just enforce the law and we're all good?

If it was up to me, like arresting Johns who look for prostitutes, I say arrest those businesses hiring illegals and toss the bosses in jail. Mandatory 3 month sentence for first offence. Triple it for subsequent offenses.

Do you know what was the most effective anti-immigration event of this century? The Great Recession. No jobs and illegals self-deport. Deny them the jobs and they'll go home.

Florida brags about no state taxes while they allow the country to pay for their certain to come natural disasters. Install a tax and build a disaster fund.

Wonder if joey wet panties has a full 1000 mile charge on his toy car.

Not just that, when things go bad it helps to have variety. We must not forget that the WOKE are Utopians, they don't factor in things going bad. Imagine living in an all electric world with no electricity for a couple of weeks. Many will die I spect.

But then again the planet is carrying to many people according to them.

Water gauges in Cedar Key, Florida just south of where Idalia made landfall in Florida's Big Bend reported a 6.89-foot water level above normally dry ground – a record for the city though the National Hurricane Center had forecast a possible 10- to 15-foot storm surge for the region.

I am of course shocked, we see the experts wrong.....often hugely wrong....over and over again. The only question is were they trying to give us their best or were they trying to scare people into leaving by lying to us.
