I've just watched the enormous rally on tv- no media links yet.

Hundreds of billions of US dollars pumped into Ukraine cannot match that level of enthusiasm for ' God and country '.

I think that Biden has made a terrible, terrible mistake.
 
Nope- still nothing in the press- but it's all over Sky TV News.
Maybe this is because written press reports are easy to share and TV footage is not.

So- for those who don't like their news censored- the 200,000 capacity stadium was full and there were thousands outside.
Whoever tells us that Russians have no morale or stomach for continuing this war is a goddam liar.

C'mon, Moon. Russia has a population of 144 MILLION people...and you are talking about a "crowd" of 200,000. It would not surprise me to find that more than 200,000 have already left Russia because of the war. Almost 300,000 have been maimed in Ukraine. An estimated 65,000 have been killed or gone missing.

Over a million Ukrainian refugees fled to Russia- and stayed there.

Ukraine prevented male Ukrainians from leaving the country. Any such restrictions on Russians ?


Besides, all statistics on military casualties only become relevant when wars are over. ' 50,000 dead Americans in Vietnam ' wasn't a wartime headline, was it.

No. But if Trump had become president for life (the way he wanted) I would guarantee he could fill a 200,000 capacity stadium.

Hitler could have done it easily...and Stalin if he wanted.

Filling a 200,000 capacity stadium is a piece of cake for a tyrant.

By the logic of your criticism- Tina Turner filling a 200,000 capacity stadium in Moscow would be a failure- because there are 144 million Russians.

You asked if I could imagine Joe Biden doing it.

Frankly, I cannot. I cannot imagine Trump doing it. There is not a politician that I know of right now that I can imagine doing it.

BUT IF A DICTATOR WANTED A 200,000 CAPACITY STADIUM FILLED...

...I CAN ALMOST GUARANTEE IT WOULD BE FILLED.

Now...if you want to think that the filled stadium is indication that the Russian people support his attack on Ukraine...knock yourself out. I could not care less.

I am just mentioning that if it actually happened (I am taking your word that it did)...no big deal. A "president for life" like Putin probably could pull it off. I doubt any free-world leader could.
