Hundreds of protesters have been arrested.........how can this be happening

CNN reported in the same article that something like a molotov cocktail was thrown at the police. This is way more than peaceful protest. Ive thrown a molotov ocktail as an experiment before and its probably the worst way to go if you get hit by it.

One can not peacefully block a street without a permit, because if one does, then the police must arrest those people, which is not peaceable.
 
I wonder if Officer 2016 took the opportunity to feel up any female protesters. :D

The boys in blue won't mess with this type of protester, I'm thinking.

When war has been declared on the police you cannot expect leeway on their part. You can expect them to bring armor and firepower.

I don't care it's only "rocks".
You exhibit assaultive behavior and there needs to be consequences.
