NEW YORK, NY — Former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner is being investigated by one of the FBI's task forces against child exploitation, according to the Associated Press.

The politician, who made a failed mayoral bid in New York in 2013, has, in the past, been dogged by several high profile "sexting" scandals, in which he was accused of sending sexually explicit texts and messages to a number of women.

Now new allegations have emerged that Weiner exchanged explicit texts with an underage, 15-year-old girl.
