my read is that if they did do that then they would be admitting treatment exists which invalidates their entire case.

Kids aren't the parents' property, and courts occasionally rule against parents' abusive behavior meted out to kids. Did that not work in your case?

There is no chance of survival, as the untested quack "therapy" doesn't work, according to the every one of the experts heard in the case. That's conclusive. Moreover, the courts up and down the ladder are the guardians of the kid's best interests, which the courts, up and down the ladder, concluded is not well served being used as a guinea-pig for other persons' profit, and with no benefit to the kid. That's also conclusive.

Apparently, you fail to take the perspective of the kid, and replace it with your own. And that's why your whole argument on the matter is shit from beginning to end. Let the kid die in dignity, as it has suffered enough already, and then some. What's so hard to understand? Really, serious question, try to ramp the hyperventilation down a notch or two, and tell me: Why is that so hard to understand?
