I'm from New York, the empire State. We've got Atlantic beachfront too, even out in the Hampton's.
But we also border Canada, and a few Great Lakes.
We've got Wall Street, the Erie Canal, Niagara Falls, and much more.
New Jersey has a lot. But "gross" in German means big. And New Jersey just isn't that big. It's big enough to fill the gap between New York & the Delaware Bay, but not much more.
New Jersey is fine. But big? Alaska's big.

Not sure where you are from in NY...but I spend LOTS of time in the Big Apple. I know Central Park like the back of my hand.
ASIDE: I once was the Director of Instruction at the largest bartenders school in the world. We graduated dozens and dozens of bartenders every month. There was a time when I knew over 200 bartenders in New York City by name...and they knew me by name also. I could walk into a couple dozen bars there and say, "the usual"...and a Johnny Black on the rocks with a splash of water and a lemon twist would be served.
Didn't get around the Great Lakes at all...but spent a year and a half living at Lake Geneva in the Finger Lakes.

In 1977 I knew a beertender in NYC named Bendit, European don't ya know.
But I do my drinking upState, inside the Adirondack Park. New York, New York, the city so nice they named it twice, is infested with Democrats.

well they are just the other side of the hate apple, doing what in reality is historically correct, combat fire with fire , they hate the hate party like I do, they know they are a dangerous hate group that is this countries biggest threat and enemy. but are willing to take a step I don't see as being necessary at this point.
